Solar PV Installation Manager
Solar PV Installation Manager (Two Positions Available)
Energlaze one of the leading installers of Solar PV in Ireland are currently recruiting a Solar PV Installation Manager to work closely with our sales personnel and office support staff to ensure effective delivery of Solar PV systems for home owners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end project management of the design, survey, coordinating all installations. This includes delivery of the PV systems from initial estimation of system size and yield to scheduling installations, ordering components and materials and managing our Nationwide team of installers.
This full time role will include the following responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys/site inspections where necessary to determine suitable PV solutions for clients
- Planning and coordinating projects with customers, fitters and suppliers on a weekly/monthly basis
- Managing project budgets
- Creation of management reports to provide overview of progress on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Working with sales representatives to provide advice on design and bespoke systems
- Site surveys where necessary and creation of proposals where required
- Contribute to customer educational if and when necessary
- Conduct warranty inspections
- Investigate any system & component failure/Root cause analysis
- Monitoring the performance of customer systems
- After sales service
Requirements for this role include:
- Prior experience and good knowledge of PV solar industry and SEAI standards
- Strong technical knowledge around all elements of solar PV systems including roof and ground mounted systems
- Self-motivated with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent working knowledge of PV Sol analysis tools
- Understanding of requirements and elements of battery storage systems is desirable
- Focus on customer service
- Good initiative and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: €50,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
Additional pay: Bonus pay

Technical Sales Executive
Technical Sales Executive:
Energlaze Home Energy Upgrades, one of Ireland’s leading energy retrofit companies, with a reputation for delivering high quality energy upgrades to homes throughout the country is now scaling its business to play a significant role in meeting the commitment set out in the National Climate Plan, to retrofit 500,000 Irish homes to BER B2 standard or better by 2030.
We are currently recruiting an experienced Technical Sales executive with knowledge of residential retrofit practices and specifications. The successful candidate will work closely with our Sales Manger and office based team to deliver the most appropriate retrofit measures for home owners.
The role will entail meeting with customers, surveying homes, identifying and costing upgrades and communicating the benefits of our full upgrade range, together with available grants, incentives and energy credits available.
Requirements for this role:
Experience in a Technical Sales role preferably targeting the domestic market
Working knowledge of construction/residential energy upgrades and retrofitting the following:
- Insulation
- Windows & Doors
- Ventilation
- Solar PV
- Heating systems including Gas, Oil & Heat Pumps
Duties /Responsibilities:
- Appoint and visit customers who are looking for Home Energy Upgrade advice and customers wishing to join the National Home Retrofit Scheme.
- Assess homes for the most appropriate upgrades & provide accurately surveys for pricing
- Provide customers with benefits of upgrades recommended and provide indicative pricing based on surveys for insulation, windows, doors & heating systems.
- Negotiation and close sales
- Updating and inputting information into Zoho CRM system
- Liaise with Sales Manager and office support staff to provide accurate information for customers.
Essential Criteria:
- BA/BS degree with the concentration in construction, renewable, marketing, business administration preferred but not essential.
- BER or Technical BER qualified.
- Knowledge of DEAP software.
- Three to four years’ experience in sales (B2C or B2B)
- Familiarity with CRM
- Fully licensed driver
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
