No need to change the window frames –
just upgrade the glass!
This amazing technology by Regency Glass features Corning® Enlighten™ Glass as the centre pane. Traditional triple-glazed units will have a centre-pane thickness of 4mm whereas this new unit has a thickness of just 0.5mm. This reduced thickness has facilitated the redesign of conventional triple-glazing resulting in thinner triple glazing without compromising on the performance. It is also lighter which means it does not require any alterations to existing window hardware ie hinges or handles. Our installers also love it as its just 5% heavier than standard double-glazing but is 30% lighter than heavier standard triple glazing.
The result? Triple-glazed performance with none of the compromises.
- Up to *53% improvement in thermal performance while keeping your existing uPVC frames
- 30% lighter than conventional triple-glazed units
- Just 5% heavier than standard double glazing
- No need to replace existing window frames or hardware.
- No need to redecorate afterwards.
- Easier handling and installation.
PREMIUM GLASS SOLUTIONS, ENGINEERED TO PERFORM
Regency Triple ® delivers exceptional thermal efficiency.
If your windows were installed between 2002 and 2022 then there is a strong possibility that they are 28mm thick double-glazed units. These units will have a centre pane *U-Value between 1.7 and 1.4 W/m².K. We can simply replace these units with our New triple-glazing which will have a u-value between 0.8 and 0.9 W/m².K thus giving energy-efficiency improvements of between **53% and 43%
No Mess, No Fuss, just real energy- savings and a more comfortable home.
*A U-Value is a measure of heat loss. The lower the number the better the product or material acts as an insulator.
**53% is based on a 28mm unit fitted prior to 2010 and 43% is based on units fitted after 2010 but before 2022. Units fitted after 2022 will see a 33% improvement in energy-efficiency.
*** Our efficiency numbers are based on all existing double-glazed units having a thickness of 28mm. Numbers will decrease if units are thinner.
